Terms of Service

1) Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using DateNight (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data and is incorporated by reference.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

3) Your Account

• You may sign in using supported providers including Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and Apple.
• Your authentication is securely managed using Supabase Auth.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4) License & App Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Prohibited Conduct

• Reverse engineering or attempting to access the App unlawfully
• Interfering with security or user experience
• Using the App for illegal, harmful, or misleading purposes

5) User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (“User Content”). You grant DateNight a limited license to host and display that content solely to operate and improve the App.

6) Location & Third-Party Services

• Location: Used to surface nearby recommendations. You may disable this in your device settings.
• Third-party services: DateNight uses:
  • Supabase (authentication, account management, and data storage)
  • Google Maps (location-based features and recommendations)
  • Firebase Hosting (to serve static content such as this website)
  • Google AdMob (to display non-personalized ads)

7) Health & Safety

You are solely responsible for your decisions when visiting venues. Always verify hours, availability, and suitability directly with the business.

8) In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

The App is currently free. If paid features are introduced in the future, pricing, billing, and cancellation terms will be clearly disclosed within the App and through the relevant app store.

9) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You may stop using the App at any time.

10) Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DateNight will not be liable for indirect or consequential damages.

11) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
